Pet care experience
I have grown up caring for my own dogs (of all ages and sizes). I have extensive experience in playing, walking, and taking care of dogs. I really love dogs and know their importance as a member of the family and acknowledge the responsibility of caring for them. I am a full-time college student but I am willing to work around my class schedule. I live in South Oakland but I am more than willing to take a bus to locations that are not within walking distance. Outside of class I am involved with the Service Dog Club at Pitt, although I do not have a service dog of my own I am around the dogs frequently so my experience with dogs still continues regularly.

Rachel is the loving owner of one dog at the moment, but has lived with dogs almost her whole life. She is responsible in knowing when, what, and how much food to give her dog, Onyx. She also consistently does outdoor activities with Onyx to keep her in good shape, such as hiking and toy games. Nothing in her life comes before her care for her animals, and she has excellent communication skills with animals of different personality types. Rachel is in great physical condition and would be able to keep up with any physical demands that dogs could bring. In addition, she is extremely patient, and doesn't get worked up by disobedience, and instead uses her intuition and natural skills with animals to work well with them.
Rachel is and always has been a very kind and compassionate person. She has always given her own pets tons of attention and is the favorite of the family's particularly sassy cat, Kitten! Rachel has over the years stopped to rescue and find the homes of many dogs and cats that are roaming the roads (which is how Kitten ended up in her home!). Friends and neighbors frequently contact Rachel when they are going out of town to ask Rachel to come to their house to take care of their pets or to ask if she will take care of their dogs at Rachel's house. As far as I know, she has never said no and the pets are repeat lodgers in Rachel's car. Additionally, Rachel is a very intelligent and conscientious young lady. She has excelled at her summer job over the last two years, being promoted to supervisor very quickly. You will not be disappointed with Rachel's service - and your dogs will look forward to seeing her!
