Pet care experience
CURRENTLY AWAY FOR THE SPRING SEMESTER! I will resume business with Rover in the summer months. I am a young graduate student, aspiring to be a veterinarian. I have worked as an unlicensed veterinary technician for the last 5 years and often worked as a pet-sitter in my hometown. I have experience working with animals with special needs, including diabetes, blindness, and/or deafness. I consider even the simplest things like meal times and giving medication, a chance to bond with your pet. I'm currently in graduate school. This keeps me near the center of Little Rock, but I am willing to travel as per my service radius. My schedule is subject to sudden changes, however. My hours are fairly flexible, though, and I am able to easily balance Rover activities with my academics. I pride myself on flexibility and prioritizing animal care during my time I spend with pets. For dog walking and drop-in visits I am very flexible with booking. Depending on the location, I am happy to do a last minute check-in for your pup. If you are a new client, I need a week's notice before booking a house-sitting so that I may meet your pets and learn as much as I can about taking care of them. Otherwise, it is highly unlikely I won't be able to book your house-sitting if you are a new client.

Rachel’s always the first, mostly only , sitter I completely trust. She understands coopers issues, always walks and runs and leaves the house clean! You will love her and be extremely happy if you choose her to care for your fur baby.

I could not say enough wonderful things about Rachel! Not only did she take the best possible care of our kitties, she also made sure that our Christmas tree had water and that our mail made it into the house each day! Her report cards are very detailed and she always made sure to include a pic of each cat daily. NEW CLIENTS: I'm very flexible for dog-walking and drop-ins, however, if you would like to book me for house-sitting, I would appreciate a week's notice before booking so that I may schedule a meet-up with your pets and familiarize myself with your home. Otherwise, it is highly unlikely I won't be able to book your house-sitting. For holidays, I suggest getting in touch 2 weeks to a month in advance, as all sitters are highly requested for those times or have their own plans to finalize. I prioritize the diet and physical health of your pets, so I would like to know the feeding regime of your dogs. I would like to be informed of any allergies or special health conditions your dog may have so I may be able to give them the best care. A forewarning of any behavior issues is highly appreciated. This is so that I may take precautions and plan walking routes that best suit the needs of your dog.
A typical day
I lead a fairly active lifestyle, so I welcome active dogs who need a running or walking partner. I also enjoy reinforcing and teaching simple tricks and commands.
