I began my experience as a dog sitter in grade school for a family friend that owned a senior Australian Shepard. Throughout the course of five years I cared for Chester many times a month either at his home or at my own, at the time, with my dog playing in the pool and back yard. We walked all around town. As the years went by he started to get older and developed arthritis and cancer. So along with regular feeding and watering I also became experienced in giving medications for his symptoms and pain. Along with the many years of caring for Chester I have had various jobs with many different types of dogs and cats as well. I have had one dog jobs or sometimes multiple. I also have experience with high energy dogs, such as Riley the mix puppy that liked to crash through sliding doors when someone new came in the house. I currently work part time as a doggy day care attendant for upwards of a dozen or more dogs at a time each day. I am a huge dog lover and have a rescue of my own. I am currently a student at San Diego State University studying to become a Speech Pathologist. One of my biggest hobbies is barrel racing and competing in rodeos with my horse that I have now owned for 5 years. I am a huge animal lover and will take any opportunity to work with them.
