I absolutely love having a dog around and excited to care for yours!! I work from home so there will be an abundance of time for dog friendly activities such as walks, runs, cuddles, and parks! Even though your dog will miss you dearly, it will have the best puppy vacay of its life with me! I live in a dog friendly apartment on Mount Pleasant around several parks and running paths for your dog to enjoy!! I have a spacious one bedroom so there will be plenty of room for your furry friend. My cell is my work phone so I’m consistently available for accommodation changes and will share fun updates of your pup’s activity. I absolutely can not wait to care for your dog! Best, Rachel

She watched our two small dogs while we went to a wedding out of town for a weekend, there were some communication issues. After we would text or call, it would take her several hours to get back. This was a red flag but she had an “excuse” for it after we got back so we thought everything was ok. Then fast-forward to a couple weeks later. We had booked her for a week. Both my husband and I had to go on a trip for work, and she cancelled 48 hours prior so that she could visit family instead (non-emergency as far as we know) but there was no apology or sympathy offered. It was extremely difficult for us to find someone to watch our dogs last minute, especially because our puppy had not been neutered yet. Honestly, she was kind and originally we felt comfortable leaving our dogs with her, but after the experience we had, we would highly recommend you look elsewhere if communication is important to you and if you are looking for someone who is reliable.

Rachel took our last minute request, sent photos, wakes our pup, and got to play with her dog! It was awesome. My dog didn’t want to leave

I have a spare crate and puppy pen if needed. I go off of owners choice on where your pup sleeps or stays when I am away. I’m comfortable with them roaming if you are, my apt is dog proof so they will be safe.

Availability
Since I work from home, having your pup around fits nicely into my schedule. I’m typically in my apartment on the weekdays until about 4 only leaving briefly for errands or coffee. I typically take a lunch where I’ll walk your pup and of course more frequent potty breaks for a puppy. I pretty much have the same schedule as a dog so it works out nicely.
