Pet care experience
I’ve been pet sitting for just over 10 years. I work full time as well right now. I prefer to stick to your pet’s normal routine as much as possible. Some of my experiences with pet sitting have involved giving oral medications as well as sub-q IV shots. I also have practice with wound care and elderly animals. I also have experience as an animal communicator. If your pet is having behavioral or health issues, I can "talk" with them to figure out what's going on and what they may need. Some animals I've watched include rabbits, chickens, fish and turtles as well as cats and dogs.
Reviews
This was the third time Rachel has watched Miss Deeds for us and the longest yet, by far as we were gone for almost two weeks. And since our Dee Dee is a nervous girl we had concerns that she would be hiding the entire time we were gone. Fortunately on day two we already received pictures of Dee Dee out and about looking happy and relaxed. That trend only continued for the rest of the time we were gone. We were comforted and put at ease by the frequent updates and pictures that Rachel sent to us while we were on our trip. We new Dee Dee was in in good hands and the level if trust that we have in Rachel allowed us to relax and enjoy our trip knowing our little girl was so well care for. Rachel also took great care with our home, it looked even better when we got back than when we left. We are so happy we found Rachel as a cat sitter, we couldn't have hoped for anyone better.
Rachel has been awesome taking care of our pet Zeus. She's always communicating well, taking photos regularly and leaves the house tidy. I always know she will take care of things while we are gone and even stayed during the recent ice storm. We feel so fortunate to have found Rachel, a reliable sitter while we are out of town!
Rachel was great during her week long stay at my house with Leia. I received a lot of great photos and she made it a priority to spend time with Leia even on the holidays. Leia seemed to be totally relaxed around Rachel and happy during her stay. Rachel was fully capable of caring for Leia and the house while I was away for almost a week - will definitely look to book with her again in the future!
Rachel did a great job taking care of our pups! They were very relaxed when we returned home.

I would like to know if your pet has any allergies, how well they get along with other animals and people, if they have anxiety. What are their quirks, what are a few of their favorite things, do they know any tricks or commands? I have really enjoyed larger dogs, such as Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, and/or Saint Bernese mixes. I'm also down with medium and small dogs. I really love cats! They all have their fun traits.
A typical day
I like to take dogs on walks in their neighborhood and/or parks and places that they are familiar with. If your dog plays well with others, we can go to dog parks also. I enjoy snuggles with pups and playing around with toys at home.

I’m currently working full time, so cats and/or dogs that are used to being home alone for a while are who I’m servicing right now. I can check in before and after work and sometimes on my hour long lunch break if needed.
