Experienced Dog Lover

Pet care experience

Hello, my name is Rachel. I am going on 9 years working in the pet industry and I love the time I get to spend with animals. Throughout the eight years I have worked in the positions of dog handler, kennel technician, bather, and customer service representative in a veterinarian's office and a dog daycare. I have experience caring for all ages of dogs, cats, and some small animals. I am capable of bathing, limited grooming, administering medications, and basic training.

So grateful Rachel could watch my dog, and she provided updates throughout the day!

Rachel was everything we hoped for! This was our first time using Rover and leaving our dogs with someone we’d just met but she came out before to meet the dogs. She went above and beyond and stayed in touch the whole time, sent ALOT of pictures. I’m so glad we found someone we can trust for future reference and our dogs loved her! I’m beyond happy to have found her. Thank you so much Rachel!

Rachel is an amazing sitter! She stayed at our place and took care of our cat Blossom. Rachel was very responsive and communicative, and really enjoyed her time with Blossom. An added plus was that she left our apartment very clean! I will absolutely be booking with her again!

Information Rachel L. would like to know about your pet

I do not have any breed preferences, however I would like to meet the dogs before having them under my care. I need to know any triggers there may be such as load noise fear, food allergies, and animal reactive behavior.

A typical day

I enjoy hiking and taking furry friends for urban walks too. I am a huge fan of puzzles and sensory mats, enrichment games. Everyday routine training is important to me too.
