I have been a sitter on Rover for about 4 years now. My background with animals began at a young age. I grew up on a farm in Southern Maryland raising horses, chickens, cats, dogs, and rabbits. We also fostered Saint Bernards for 10 years as well, I was even a member of the 4H where I showed our family Saint Bernard. My love for animals continued into adulthood where I got my degree in environmental science, specializing in conservation and wildlife. Throughout college I volunteered at a local dog rescue with my sorority, participating in dog adoption days and fundraisers. Being away from my family pets back home and dealing with the loss of my roommate’s Rottweiler that I adored has left a hole in my heart. I miss being around animals and especially large dogs and would love to help you take care of your furry family members.
