Let your pets enjoy some good old fashioned Colorado living! I love to spend my free time up in the mountains with my three dogs. We do everything from hiking, running, backpacking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, you name it. Yes I am dog crazy and yes I can generally walk everyone at once. I have been dog sitting for as long as I can remember and I started fostering dogs about two years ago. I have a soft spot for the shy dogs and have fostered and helped socialize over a dozen dogs. One of my own is very human shy so I know how stressful it can be to leave your nervous pup with a stranger and I will do my best to help them feel comfortable and confident with me. I also have a shepherd with EPI who needs quite a few medications in her food as well as weekly injections. If you just walk me through it I can make sure your pup gets whatever they need! I live in a 3 story townhome with my own 3 dogs and one cat. My cat thinks he’s a dog but will be reserved at first with new dogs. I just ask that your dog is not aggressive with him, but wanting to play and being curious are all behaviors I am used to! My dogs are all very friendly and I’m very used to having visiting dogs over, they will adjust their play styles to whoever is visiting but they are more than happy to just nap and play by themselves. Dogs are always fed separately by household, all play time is monitored, and as I’m first getting to know your dogs toy preferences will be monitored as well so I make sure they don’t eat anything they shouldn’t. I prefer to have a meet and greet before a first time stay so that I can get to know a bit more about your pets and help them get to know me, trust me it helps their transition when you first leave a lot! I send lots of pictures and updates daily so you can rest easy while you’re away.
