Pet care experience
Growing up, we always had a dog in the family, and my father's work organizing continuing education for veterinarians in the DC and Delaware Valley areas kept me interested and connected to resources about pet care. I have been trained in pet first aid/CPR through a course with PetTech, and have kept my course material, just in case! I have dog-walked/cared for neighborhood/friends' for over a decade, and now would like to make it official! My PhD work is flexible, so I can work from home, and would love to have some dog company! :)

Rachel was great! My dog loved her from the moment she walked into my apartment. I was a little nervous about having someone stay in my home while I was gone, but my apartment was in perfect shape when I returned and my dog was happy! Rachel sent me pictures of her and my dog on walks, playing inside, and just hanging out. I highly recommend Rachel!
I am extremely happy with Rachel! She watched my 2 mini dachshunds in my home for a long weekend and the dogs were sad to see her go when we got home. She sent daily updates with pictures and cuddled right up with my attention-needy pups. I couldn't be more pleased with her services! She even dealt very well with a surprise skunk that was in the yard one evening (something I had never encountered before and felt terribly about!) and called the dogs right back into the house with everyone unharmed/not sprayed. Overall I strongly recommend Rachel as a pet sitter. If I weren't moving out of state in a week I would definitely use her again!!
Rachel was wonderful- there was plenty of communication with anything needed from setting up the drop off to sendinging us pictures throughout the stay. It's not easy for us to part with our dog, but we felt much better knowing that she was in such great care.
Rachel took excellent care of my rabbit, Rupert! Rupert prefers to roam around the apartment, as he is littertrained so he doesn't need a cage. I received lots of photos of my happy rabbit sleeping by her side as she studied or playing with his toys on her floor with her. He came home a very happy rabbit--it was clear he accepted Rachel into our pack!
