Pet care experience
I'm a young college student (going into my Sophomore year) and active dog LOVER. I have a 7 Mo. Mini Aussie named Scout of my own, he's is very smart and we love training together (We're even looking into special training for service, hospital work, or agility training!) As stated before, I am an ASU student, but will be living in town for the entire summer with no classes, so I can and would love to work with pets 24/7. Working with dogs is not just a way to make money for me, I love training and look forward to pursuing work in related fields even after graduation! My daily routines include walks and multiple trips to the dog park, as well as two half hour training sessions for fun tricks! I've been watching over others animals and homes for over 5 years, have had dogs since I was born, and remain completely flexible on your personal pet and their needs!

Rachel went above and beyond with my puppy's care. She Was genuinely devoted to making sure Oadie was healthy and happy during his four days with her. I could not have made a better choice.
Rachel and her dog scout are the best. Based on Rachel's continuous daily updates and pictures, Max truly looked happy and comfortable spending the day at their house and making friends with Scout. Rachel is very caring of animals and understanding of dogs needs, especially when talking arizona heat. I would def. recommend her for any dog services on Rover. Thanks Rachel for taking care of my boy Max.

Rachel is fantastic with dogs! She is one of the most responsible people I know and is incredibly passionate towards animals. She has a small dog named Scout for the others to play with as well :) Huge bonus

I prefer to know the temperament and abilities of your pup before taking them. i.e. "Good on a leash", "Doesn't get along well with other dogs", "Lazy and just wants to relax", "Mostly potty trained but needs frequent breaks", etc. NO BREED PREFERENCES for anything other than long stays (A week or more). I'd prefer medium-small dogs in those circumstances but can be flexible if necessary. I love all breeds equally!
A typical day
Walking around the Tempe ASU campus is my favorite location, dogs get lots of attention and are always tuckered out after the square mile campus walk! (If this doesn't work for your special pup, I can walk other routes with less people/activity!) I love going to the dog park with my own dog and letting him get his energy out among the others. I frequently hike "A Mountain" and love being outdoors!
