As a graduate student who recently moved to Pittsburgh with my husband, I have a relatively flexible schedule to provide some of the best care for dogs in the area. I have cared for my dog, Maddie, intensively over the past several years through administering medications and general wellness maintenance, which became for prevalent over the last few years. My morning and evening walks in the city provide an escape from my quaint studio apartment and long days of virtual lectures. Being able to escape the mundane motions of everyday life with an energetic (or lethargic) four-legged companion would bring me a small piece of joy that I left in my hometown. With my previous experience, I am comfortable working with a dog with medical needs and short walks. However, with my cooped up energy, I am up for long energetic walks around the city.
