Pet care experience
I am a recent masters degree graduate in environmental management from Duke University, now working in Raleigh. I have 5 years of experience walking dogs and house sitting in New York City and have had friends dogs come stay with me for up to 10 days since moving to Durham. I am a runner, love to get out to Eno and have a flexible schedules. I love dogs but live with a cat, so i'd love to spend some quality time with yours in the meantime! Also, the comments reflect my roommate (Kendall) and I doing rover together. She has since moved to Berkeley and I've taken on the operation since then. Let me know if you have any questions!

Rachel was so great with all of our animals, especially Romeo. He was happy and upbeat when we returned home from our 10 day vacation. Highly recommend her to anyone with pets.

Rachel took great care of our boys! Our dog, Tripp, usually takes a little bit to warm up to people but she sent a picture of him cuddling with her on the first visit! So I know she has some kind of magical dog abilities. She communicated quickly and sent pictures too! I would definitely recommend her.

Iwould like to know how they get along with other dogs, how much activity they need on a daily basis, and any of their "vices" (mine is ice cream, theirs might be shoes). It will also be helpful to know what commands they know and if you allow them to go off leash.
A typical day
My favorite spots are Al Buehler Trail, Duke Pond, Duke Forest, Eno River and around the neighborhood! If your dog gets along with other dogs, we have lots of friends who can get together for play dates. I love running and strolling too, and am definitely not opposed to cuddling.
