Love-Treats-Play-Snuggles-Walks; your pup (and cat, too!) will have it all with me! I've been a dog and cat lover/owner all my life and have provided care to many friends and family pets too! I very much enjoy the exchanges, comfort, and companionship shared between pets and their people. I feel pet sitting allows me the opportunity to share all the 'extra' love that fills my heart with your fur-baby! I pride myself on being reliable and adaptable, loving to all animals, gentle and compassionate, and understanding to your pet's specific needs. I treat others as I would like to be treated ~ and I will do just that with your beloved furbabies! I will love and care for them as my own. Having cared for, personally trained, and raised dogs of my own, I understand the needs of each dog can differ. I possess the level of understanding and patience necessary to care for dogs of all ages and energy levels; from the 'littles' to the gentle giants. I am comfortable caring for dogs who are going through training at any stage and can provide insight and/or tips for challenging habits/behaviors. I am also willing to adapt and follow your training specifications that you've instilled in your dog to ensure consistency. Not every dog understands or responds to the same techniques or language. I've experienced this with my own dogs ~ we had our own special language they responded best to and were most comfortable with. I have also had two cats myself which I adopted from a friend who was no longer able to care for them. I feel animals are most comfortable when they're in their own surroundings. I will adapt to accommodate and fulfill their needs, providing the best care in your home, during overnight stays. While staying in your home, I will treat it as my own, leaving it in the same condition as you left it. I am also willing to provide additional household services like collecting the mail, watering plants, tending to garbage pickup, etc. Your "fur kids" will be my #1 priority while in my care! I will only sit for 1 family (up to 3 dogs/cats) at a time to ensure the best possible care for them is provided! I will treat them as I do my own for the time they're in my care. I am available by text/phone anytime during my stay and will be in contact via photos and short updates as well.

I could not recommend Rachel more highly. She has been dog sitting for us for over 2.5 years. She is professional and holds herself to high standards. We have 2 pups, one of which is 15 and has musculoskeletal and eye problems. Rachel diligently gives his many eye drops on schedule and takes notes each time she stays with the dogs to ensure she is meeting both of their needs. She communicates with me often so I don’t worry and is keenly aware of how both of the dogs are doing. Our home is always cleaner than we left it and everything is in order. On top of all of that, she is a caring person who I can tell truly loves my dogs and doesn’t just do this to make a living. (Though it is how she makes a living and she does it well.) I was hesitant to write this post only because I feel anxious when I have to leave our dogs with someone other than Rachel so I don’t want her to take on too many new clients. I have only great things to say about her.
We went on a two week trip out of the country and Rachel stayed in our home with our dog. I could not have been happier - in fact, I think my dog might be in love with her. She met us in advance, took meticulous notes, and confirmed everything before we left. I trust her completely. She's honest, gentle, polite, and makes this process very easy on the pet owner. She even brought my dog to the groomer and gave him medication. Will definitely hire her again. Ten out of ten!
I highly recommend Rachel. She has lovingly taken care of my golden doodle Oliver as I travel monthly. I appreciate her daily pictures of him as they walk, snuggle, and play. I swear he is smiling! It is very comforting to know he is so well cared for!
Rachel was incredible to work with. She watched our two doodles while we were on vacation. She sent multiple pictures and updates every day and I knew my pups were in great hands. She is reliable, trust-worthy, and you can immediately tell how much she loves and cares for dogs. We will 100% use Rachel again when we go out of town. Thank you again, Rachel! You are amazing!

As I've had pet sitters in the past for my own dogs, I understand the importance of communication and consistency in care, and promise to provide the most comfortable, safe, and loving environment for your pet. I know how it feels to be away from your pets while working/traveling and wish to provide you peace of mind. I ask that you bring to my attention any specific needs and/or quirks your pets may have ~ in turn, relieving any stress/anxiety for you, as well as your beloved pups, all while providing consistency in their daily lives and the best possible care for them while you're away. Is your dog house-trained? Good on a leash? Or still in leash training? Other dog friendly? Fearful of people? Kids? Kennel trained?
A typical day
I enjoy sharing my hobbies with the company of pets; whether it be outdoors or indoors! I stay active walking, running, riding my bike, and finding new parks/trails to explore. I enjoy reading, cooking, snuggles, playtime with your pet, and giving doggie massages, too!

I provide full time care, as needed, for your pets. If your pet can be left alone for a few hours, I may go and workout for an hour/grab a coffee, otherwise I settle in and your animal is my first priority!
