Pet care experience
I've grown up around pets since the day I was born. I've owned dogs (and cats) nearly every year of my life and have worked in vet clinics since I graduated high school. For two years I was an assistant manager of a pet boarding & daycare facility. In undergrad I also had the privilege of raising two service dogs. Throughout my life, I've been chosen by family & friends to pet sit. I certainly feel confident caring for your pets - from walking to pet sitting to training and everything in between!

Rachel is the best. She took the time to make my nervous rescue feel comfortable. She’s incredible with animals, punctual, and professional.
I’ll start by saying my pups are typically very picky about who i have walk them and Rachel quickly became their favorite. She’s very intelligent, friendly, and easy to get in contact with Throughout the day. When I get home from work I can tell my dogs have had a good day which is important to me.
Rachel watched my dog for about a month while I traveled. My dog is basically my child, so leaving him with someone else is a very BIG DEAL for me. He was just 1.5yrs at the time and had lots of energy. Rachel took him on walk everyday and made sure he was well socialized with other dogs. Her vet training was HUGE when he got a little sick. He has a very sensitive stomach. Every once in awhile he gets a nasty case of diarrhea which requires a vet visit. Rachel was great at getting him the medical treatment he needed and her care was very consistent with what his vet would normally prescribe. When I picked him up he was in great health and did not want to come home! I will definitely be using Rachel in the future for my dog boarding needs.
Rachel is a true professional and lover when it comes to pups/animals in general. With her veterinary degree almost complete, she brings a new level of passion mixed with expertise in animal needs! I’ve never met another human that loves doggos as much as she and she has gone above and beyond in caring for mine personally on several occasions. Breath of fresh air and security knowing my special needs pup is in good hands.

Fenced in yard with nearby parks. I own a small terrier who is dog friendly and a Boxer who loves all dogs, but can play rough (will only interact with your pet once they've been introduced and we know they get along of course). Mom works at home and will also be around to love on the pets!

I love all dogs and especially enjoy working with big dogs. I've owned my fair share of cats as well, so you're feline friend is in good hands with me! From mellow pooches to rambunctious pups, I have a high energy boxer so a wild personality doesn't scare me. And I will definitely love chilling out and cuddling any mellow fellow. Being experienced in veterinary medicine, I feel comfortable giving medications and monitoring for health problems. Just let me know what your dog needs and I'm sure we can sort a plan out. I would want to meet you & your pet(s) beforehand and make sure they love my energy & cuddles, too :)
A typical day
I enjoy being outside and especially love going for hikes, so if your dog is up for adventure, we would be great mates! I have a truck and so travelling with your pet (as long as they don't get carsick) is not a problem at all - we will be able visit new places often if you'd like. Of course, if your pet loves routine we can stick to that, too. You can bet on me to send you a variety of pet selfies while I watch your furry friend! I love cuddles, playtime and am happy to help with dog training as well. Whatever makes you and your pet happiest at the end of the day :)
