Pet care experience
Hey there, I’m a 24 year old graduate from Bellarmine University. I’ve recently obtained my Masters degree in athletic training, and I am looking to make a little extra money to pay off my student debt. Any time I enter someone's home I almost immediately find the dog or cat and instantly make a new friend. I have been around dogs ever since I was little, and have loved animals my whole life. I first began dog-sitting when I was about 12 and have cared for my neighbors’ dogs ever since. I have experience walking dogs, bathing dogs, and taking care of their needs (i.e. medication) as well as giving them all of the attention. I currently have a 7 year old schnoodle named Winnie; she's well behaved and maybe even a little spoiled. The only downside is that she does have anxiety around bigger dogs, therefore I will not bring her with me on visits (just to be safe). Any dog I care for, I make sure to give them the same care, attention, and love that I give my own dog. I have experience with small to large size dogs (assuming they're trained). I know I have only talked about dogs, however I do have experience with cats, chickens, and reptiles as well, so I will be available to care for them too!

I will not be taking pets into my own home, I will do visits and housesit. Whatever the owner’s preference is in the way I care for their pet, will be what I do. I look to provide consistency in the pet’s daily schedule. I love detailed instruction on how to care for animals. I insist on meet/greets before I am alone with any pet.
Information Rachel J. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know what size, breed, temperament, and age of the dog/cat before I begin a visit. I’d like to be as prepared as possible when taking care of your pets so the more information, the better! I am comfortable around all breeds, but I do ask that especially with the larger breeds, that they be trained.
A typical day
I love to play with toys, go on walks, play fetch in the yard, go to the park, etc. I also am down to take the doggos to the dog park if there is one nearby (and if they are well-behaved around other dogs).

Availability
I typically work M-F from 2:00pm-8:00pm (sometimes as late as 9pm). I am an early riser, so morning care and walks are no problem as well as early afternoon care. I work as a certified athletic trainer at a local high school.
