I am new to Rover but have experience walking dogs and taking care of both cats and dogs. It is important to me that each and every pet that I handle gets the attention and care they need. I am very patient and empathetic, and prioritize any specific needs your pet(s) may have. Please provide doggie bags and a leash for your pet. If there are any special or specific instructions I am open to accommodating whatever needs your pet(s) or you may have. I will always be respectful and considerate of any rules you may have for your pet(s). If you would like photos taken during the visit/walk just let me know. I will not touch anything in your home except for toys and items involving your pet. Your privacy is important and will always be respected. I love animals very much. I understand things pick up at work, or family stuff comes up and sometimes our pets miss out on walks or end up spending a few days alone. They don’t have to and you don’t have to feel any guilt. I am here to help.

Rachel is the sweetest and most caring person I know. She always puts an animals well being first, and is extremely observant. She loves dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities.
If you’re looking for someone who will take amazing care of your pets and spoil/ love them just as much as you do, then Rachel is definitely that person! She has taken care of my dog and 2 kitties and I will let her any day. She takes into consideration every pets individual needs and goes above and beyond to keep them happy and healthy. :)
Rachel is a wonderful, caring person who always goes out of her way to take care of other people, animals and even plants. I've known her for 3 years and have always been blown away by how attentive and nurturing she is. She has had both dogs and cats of her own and has always shown the utmost respect for her pets. She treats them like part of her family and I know that she would do the same for any other animals that she took on responsibility for. I treat my dog as a top priority ensuring she gets her daily walks and proper meals. Exercise, play time, and daily visits to the local dog park are important. I follow the routine you have set for your pets and respect your wishes regarding walks, play time, and visits to the dog park. I will not take your dog off leash at any time without your permission.

A typical day
Walks will be around your neighbourhood or any parks in the area. If your dog is active we can go for a jog or stop and play some fetch or any other games they love. (I will be keeping them on leash unless you consent to them being off leash and only in fenced in areas). If your dog is a senior or more relaxed we can walk slowly and take breaks and enjoy the fresh out doors.

I am currently working part-time from home and on summer break from school so I have a flexible schedule and can usually take same day bookings for walks or drop in visits.
