Treating your dog like my own!
Pet care experience
Dogs have always been a huge part of my life ever since I was born. They aren't just your pets... they're your family. They need love, attention and plenty of play time and exercise! Choosing me as your sitter/walker will allow your dog to be in a safe and secure setting, all while being able to be themselves and burn off energy. Your pets are welcome to make my couch their home, as long as my pup warms up to them! I'm happy to take care of your cats/other pets, as well. Through and through, I am a lover of all animals. FYI -- if you have a smaller dog who some may view as a little on the angry/aggressive side, I have lots of experience working with pups that have an attitude. :)
Reviews
As before, Rachel provided a nice home for Ripley while we were away - lots of walks, playing, adventures, and snuggling. She made extra provisions for keeping Ripley cool during the hot weather spell we had. She always gives nice updates and asks the right questions! Ripley was very relaxed and tired when she came back home to us - always a good sign.
Sebastian is a repeat customer and loves Rachel! She is quick to respond and reliable. I can travel so much easier now that Sebastian has a “go to” sitter where he can relax in her home and enjoy his “staycation!”
Ripley stayed with Rachel over the Christmas holiday, and we were happy with her stay. Rachel gave us a lot of good updates on all the activities she did with Ripley. She is organized and communicative and has a lovely, dog-friendly place. We definitely relaxed on our vacation!
Rachel is very attentive and reliable! She’s great to work with every time.

Information Rachel H. would like to know about your pet
The following are some questions I always like to ask before booking a new stay: 1) How does your dog handle small dogs? 2) Has your pup been known to be destructive at all? 3) Potty-trained? If your pet gets anxious, do they have accidents? How frequently should they be let out to avoid accidents? 4) How would your pup do in an office setting? If you are interested in doggy day care, I would be taking your furry friend to the office with me. I need a minimum of 3 business days to get the dog approved to go to the office with me, and I'll need vaccine records as well! I do live in a studio apartment, so if your pet stays with me, it's best that they are under 40 pounds, as I don't have a ton of space! Happy to watch whatever sized pup in your home though!
A typical day
Happy to take your critter to my pet friendly office, where they will have access to lots of free treats and toys! I'm in the heart of LQA, so we can walk through the Seattle Center or head to the sculpture garden for a fun afternoon! -- If you are interested in doggy day care, I would be taking your furry friend to the office with me. I need a minimum of 3 business days to get the dog approved to go to the office with me, and I'll need vaccine records as well! They'll probably get spoiled with lots of treats and belly scratches while hanging out with me! :)
