DOGGY AIRBNB!

Pet care experience

Experiences: I have worked at Bishop Ranch Veterinary, Canyonwyck Kennels, Danville Paw Spa, DogMah Spa, Wunderbar’s Pet Hotel, NomNom and now have branched out to doing dog boarding! So yeah, I know a thing or two about dogs lol. Not including my family’s long list of pets that I have cared for throughout the years. In fact it wasn’t always about working with anything dog related. Prior to that I have worked as a flight planner for Lufthansa, British Airways World Cargo & Emirates from Freight Forwarding companies. I also own a few rental properties as well. I had to follow my heart and change career, and little did I know that what I did as a kid is what I was really meant to do now. Just all grown up! ** Because of my pack, my clients have mentioned that their dog has developed socialization skills!** About me: I simply L-O-V-E dogs! What can I say.. Fun, loyal and loving. Through my life's journey, my dog Pennie has brought out the best in me. She was a blessing in disguise. I loved her so much that I thanked God everyday for blessing me with such an amazing dog. Who understood me and yet still continued to love ME at the end of each day no matter what. She was definitely one of many that meant everything to me. She has my heart. And she is the REASON why I do what I do. Now our pack has grown! Ellie, Tinkerbell, Bailey, Coco, Gizmo and Arya has made our lives EVEN better and kept Pennie feeling young =). Of course when their sissy was still here. But I don’t doubt that she isn’t still bossing them around wherever she is! I decided to dedicate the time I have in taking care of other people's dogs because I understand what their needs and expectations are. Genuinely speaking from the past of wanting to travel or if dogs weren't allowed, in addition could not find anyone that met my needs without the constant worry was stressful enough. It’s because I adore them so much that I really just wanted someone honest to take care of them. Not to say that anybody I knew was not trustworthy, but more so wouldn't just focus on the money itself. For me it’s not work. It is my life. And I found my purpose in caring for dogs.

My senior dog had a great time at Rachel’s with her adorable crew of rescue dogs! You can tell Rachel and her family truly love dogs and have lots of experience with various dog personalities and interactions.

Rachel is so amazing! She takes care of my pup as if he was her own. Every time I drive over to drop off for a weekend or so, Luke can’t contain his excitement to see her and her family. She is excellent at communication and always sends the cutest pics and videos to keep me posted on how much fun he’s having. So happy to have found Rachel to watch my fur baby since he’s considered part of the family when he stays there. I am always at ease when he’s staying with her since she’s the best baby sitter I’ve found for my four legged child.

Rachel was amazing with our sweet girl, Littlefoot! She sent video and photo updates frequently which really helped ease our minds while on vacation. She was so patient and accommodating to Littlefoot's anxious and nervous behaviors when first meeting the other pups. It made us happy to know that she was in good hands and getting more and more comfortable with the other dogs each day. We'll definitely being reaching out to Rachel for future puppy visits! :)
