I've taken care of one elderly dog for the past 4 years, walking her once a day around lunch and sometimes feeding her dinner as well. I've also house sat while watching her and made sure that she was walked and fed as often as she needed. That was my first dog sitting gig in high school and in the 6 years since I haven't stopped! I regularly care for my friends' animals when they go away for vacation and often pop in to feed or let dogs out/take them on a walk of my friends' days run long.

Rachel was fantastic. We have 3 very different dogs, physically and temperamentally, and 3 indoor/outdoor cats. Rachel came to the house a few days early to get to know our one dog that is a bit fearful right in the beginning of people she is unfamiliar with, but Rachel win her over with patience and lots of treats. We were gone a week and never heard of any problems. All dogs and cats were healthy and happy when we got home. Rachel was accommodating and easy to work with and we would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone who asks. Thanks Rachel for taking care of our 4-legged kiddos!
Rachel stayed in our home and cared for our two dogs and one cat. One had some medication needs. She sent us photos and communicated well. I think our animals enjoyed her company very much. Rachel thank you for taking care of our furkids so well!

I love all breeds but definitely have a soft spot for pitbulls! It's important for me to know how your dog interacts with other animals so when we are out I know what to expect. Some dogs are great at a dog park but not on a leash, and some are the opposite! What's your dog like?
A typical day
I love bringing dogs on nature hikes, walks in city park, couterie forest, and along the bayou. Having animals with me helps me explore my city even more!

Availability
I work in the service industry as well as a regular babysitter so every day/week looks different for me, but I am usually able to find some time to bike/drive/walk to give pet care during the day. I don't work for more than 7 hours at a time.
