Specializing in senior pets! Certified in Pet First Aid and CPR for your peace of mind. Whatever makes your pet happy makes me happy. We'll go for treks if they're adventurous, or just have quiet companiontime if they're more low-key. Drop-in visits always include playtime, affection, consistent training reinforcement, outside adventures (if your pet is allowed outdoors), and full, sparkling-clean food and water bowls. My priorities are safety and comfort for your furry friends, rain or shine. I give loving, patient, and careful attention every visit - and I'll send updates at least twice/day, depending on your schedule and preference. With your permission, I might even whip up a pet-friendly meal from scratch! (Mmmm, turkey meatballs....) I am particularly mindful of clean bowls & beds, fresh water, gentle ear rubs, and finding the sunbeams. Positive reinforcement happens from start to finish, each and every visit. I will spoil 'em, but just a little! I began my work with dogs decades ago as a dog care volunteer at the Austin Humane Society, received PetTech first aid/cpr certification in 2017 (and subsequent recertifications), audited a Tellington TTouch massage class at SF SPCA in 2018, and completed a Senior Pet Health and Safety class through SF SPCA in 2019. Bonus: Neighborhood Emergency Response Team certified and a Certified Aging-in-place Specialist (for humans) - cuz nothing's cooler than safety. I do not book initial service without meeting your pet (and you), and am happy to provide references.

Rachel is incredible! We’re so thankful for all of her hard work caring for our senior cat. She did an intro visit to understand our cat’s health, routine, personality, and home. She is an excellent communicator and even gave us new ideas for toys and play time activities for our cat. We really appreciate her professionalism, care, and enthusiasm for her work!
It is impossible to overstate how wonderful Rachel is-- especially with my dog Greta, but in general as a person and overall caretaker. Greta is a nearly 15 year old pit who requires patience and support, and Rachel gives so much of both. Time in the sun, long walks, special treats, deep massages, Greta gets it all. And she is incredibly communicative and thorough and completely conscientious of taking care of your home while you're gone. We are so lucky to have met her and can't recommend her highly enough.
Once again Rachel provided exemplary service! Our cat likes exactly 4 people and Rachel is one of them. This is a hard earned friendship and I appreciate Rachel being a part of our and our pets lives!

Rover wants me to clarify how "pet care fits into my routine" and it's really the other way around: when I'm with your pet, my routine adapts to their care. I consider myself a pet "aunt" for many wonderful pups and cats; like everyone, I have other less-interesting responsibilities to squeeze into my schedule.
