Pet care experience
Heyo! I like to hike, read, camp, and play video games. I moved from Houston where I worked as a Medic at Texas Children's Hospital. I grew up on a farm in Texas so I'm very accustomed to animals. I was a volunteer at the Rita B Huff animal shelter for a few years. I had a special needs dog growing up so I am very comfortable with giving medications and puppy diapers. I have a lot of experience with bottle feeding babies (kittens or puppies). If you do have any special needs animals I would love to meet up a little before the scheduled time to go over all of your pets needs. I currently live in a 3 story townhome, so if your pet has any mobility issues that is something to be aware of. Your pet will be climbing stairs regularly while staying with me. Our home is ideal for low energy pups, but we welcome them all! I have 3 roommates, so dogs will need to be comfortable with men and women. It is also important that they are not actively dog aggressive as there are many dogs that live close to us. (As long as they can pass another walking dog outside without incident, they should be fine.) I hope to get the chance to meet your sweet pets!

We have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks who are a bit of a challenge. Also, they have a routine that probably is a bit more elaborate and demanding than average. Rachel performed magnificently in house-sitting our dogs! So, you can be sure you are getting a very capable sitter going with Rachel H!
Rachel was awesome with our pups, we could tell they had a fun time with her! We have an elderly dog and felt she was in good hands while we were gone. The house looked great when we got back—we would definitely book with Rachel again!
