Pet care experience
Ever since I was little I have owned cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, you name it. I have an 8 year old border collie mix who I have trained and attended many dog training courses with personally. I have a ton of experience with cats as we've always had 2 in our household and we even had our calico kitty live till 21 years old! My friends and coworkers have trusted me to check in and take care of their pets when they are away or need a quick hand.

Rachel is great because she is consistent. She follows the instructions for my pet perfectly, and if she has any questions does not hesitate to ask. Her daily summaries are very informative and thorough. If there is something just a little bit unusual with my pet, she will summarize it and ask questions if needed. She communicates very well. I enjoy using Rachel and will definitely use her again.
Rachel is so dependable and I can tell from the pictures that my boys love her!
Rachel is terrific! My older dog has stomach issues and got sick while I was away. Rachel thoughtfully cleaned up the mess. She is very good about giving me updates about walks which is comforting when I have to be gone for long periods of time.
Rachel is awesome and the dogs love when she comes to visit them!

For my own dog we have 3 acres of land set back where we go for walks daily. Nearby we also have many side streets that I walk her with comfortability. We do have a crate for her as well if need be but she is trained well enough to not need it and has had no accidents in the house. My dog is allowed on the couch and sleeps with us in our bed. She is just like family and I would treat your pet just like family too! In clients' homes, I would respect the instructions of the owner and what their dogs normal routine is.

I understand that every single animal is different and they all have different personalities. If your pet doesn't like a certain area on them pet, if they don't like the UPS truck, or if they are a little bit leash aggressive please let me know! I am here to help you and your pet live a healthy happy life and want to do the best I can.
A typical day
I love to go for walks to allow them to get all the physical and mental exercise that they need! Lots of sniffs are important! If they love to play fetch I'll be ready to go! Treats and belly rubs are my specialty. My dog and I love to walk around the bogs nearby or take a leisure stroll down the quiet side streets.

Availability
I currently work from home and can pop by for a walk on my lunch break and before or after work. Weekends are free for anytime you need. If you need house sitting also, I'm your person! I'll make sure to look after your pet and home as I would my own!
