I have a small Yorkie-Maltese mix at home, and when I was little would often spend time with my aunts dog and give her hour long belly rubs. I’m definitely someone who can’t say no to them; although when it matters I can, such as pulling them to the side of the road if a cars coming or not giving them an unhealthy snack. I have some experience around a formerly abused dog, mostly just being respectful of his boundaries with people, and my little dog has strict dietary needs, so if there is a similar issue let me know. If there is a specific way your dog likes to play or be pet, a certain route they like on their walk, or if you want some basic grooming like brushing done, I’m all ears. My availability is flexible and I’d be happy to work something out with you.

Rachel is a caring and very trustworthy individual who's love for animals drives her character. She is very responsible and places pets first, even going above and beyond to make sure my dog is comfortable. I have know Rachel and her dog for 6 years. She treats Mojo (her families dog) like a princes. Mojo gets stove top chicken and the like. In addition, she treats Mojo’s safety with the upmost importance. She moves the carpet around, so Mojo does not slip and hurt herself. She also provides Mojo with sweaters in the cold seasons.
Rachel is truly a wonderful and caring young woman! She is reliable and bright. She seems to have a natural calming effect with animals and is easily liked by people too! I think she would be great for the position of caring for other people's dogs! She's been wonderful and joyfully attentative to my dog!!! ~Cheryl Widener
