Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of animals since I started working at the veterinarian when I was 19. I worked for the veterinarian for over 12 years, and I love the animals. I’m not squeamish and I’m familiar with giving medication, bathing, nail trims, and walking those sweet ones. I look forward to serving you and your sweet animal baby.

This was our first time using Rover and we had some slight apprehensions about leaving our dog with just anybody but Rachel was kind welcoming and understanding to our dog’s needs! Definitely recommend and would be using her again!
We are so thankful to have found Rachel on Rover. We had total peace of mind while on vacation knowing that our pup was in great hands. Prior to booking we had a meet and greet with Rachel which is a must for us. Her previous experience working with animals in a veterinary setting put our minds at ease. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone searching for a caring person to look after their furry family members.
I can not say enough good things about our experience with Rachel and her children. You could tell Tucker enjoyed himself and was very comfortable with them. We got several pictures through our trip letting us know how he was doing, if he was eating, and how he was doing in general. I would recommend Rachel to anyone locally, we will be using her again.
We've never left our dogs to board overnight with someone they didn't know, but Rachel made the experience a success. We were especially concerned about Isabel, who tends to be fearful of unfamiliar situations, but the little girl did well. Rachel and her sweet kids will always be our first choice when we need a sitter!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs that I can take care of! I’m comfortable with helping dogs with bad hips up and down stairs and cleaning them up if they have an accident.Please let me know if you are ok with your pet being around other pets. If not I can adjust accordingly. I often keep no more than 3 pets at a time as long as they get along well with other pets.
A typical day
Things I typically do with fur babies are brushing, scratching, patting, walking, running, allowing them to go on a smell walk, throwing the ball, tug of war, snuggles. We like to walk around the neighborhood and on the greenway.

Availability
I’m a stay at home mom so I have a very flexible schedule. I’m available most of the time. I do have kids, but if your animal is nervous around children as some are I’m willing to come without them. However if you need your fur baby to stay in my home they would have to be ok with children.
