Growing up, I participated in the care of household pets and have always been a huge animal lover! My first job at age 16 was acting as an animal caretaker/educator at an exotic animal rescue center. Here I cared for a variety of animals- from porcupines to kangaroos! I think my love for animals & science lead me to pursue my bachelors in Biology. I am now completing my rotations as I finish my doctorate in Optometry. I recently moved to Prescott from Massachusetts for a 4 month rotation. My fiancé and I have 3 pets including our rescue pup Caly and our two cats Bean & Eva. While I am renting out here, my fiancé is in our home in MA caring for our beloved pets. I dearly miss them, but I can’t wait to get to know your pets and treat them like part of the fur family! I have experience with animals of all species and ages. I have cared for puppies and kittens, senior animals, and even animals with disabilities/ailments. We adopted Caly around 12 weeks and invested a lot of time in her training with the help of a behaviorist, so I also have decent foundation in dog training. Don’t hesitate to ask if your pet has special requirements, I am happy to accommodate and work with them.
