Pet care experience
Hi pet parents, Now that Covid lockdown is over, we pet caregivers are back in business! I've been on a Rover sabbatical for a couple of years and I'm starting to visit pets again. I've relocated to Enumclaw and will be servicing the Enumclaw area for drop in visits and 30 minute walks! I work in Seattle at an animal clinic. Due to 12+ hour work days, I CANNOT see pets on days that I work. This is ultimately for your pet's wellbeing, I won't commit to your pet if I cannot provide them the care they need. Interested in a pet-play date? I have a 3 year old mix named Venli. Although I do NOT bring her to your home for standard visits or walks, if you're interested in some extra enrichment for your canine companion, let me know and we can do a little meet-n-greet! If you want to know a little about me... I love animals! I currently work at an animal medical clinic. I have worked and studied animal rights and welfare. My experiences include medication and injection administration, potty training, wildlife infant and newborn care, and various other accommodations. Here are some of the animals I have worked with: dogs, cats, horses, and exotic wildlife in a rehabilitation/sanctuary setting.
Reviews
Rachel was awesome!!! She gave the best care to my three kitties!! They loved her!! I received regular daily updates regarding my cats and they looked happy and healthy! She was amazing!
Rachel is very dependable and my dogs love her.
Rachel was outstanding! She went over and above to provide ekeep me informed
Rachel is the best. I had never used Rover.com before and was hesitant to have anyone unknown to me be entrusted with the care of my pets. At our meet and greet, Rachel put my fears to rest. My dogs were well cared for during her visit, pottied, loved on and she texted many pictures and videos of them to me at the time of her visit. One of my dogs barks at all strangers, and with Rachel she did none of that but gave her kisses instead which tells me dogs know best the nature of a person. Highly recommend.

Companion animals will be treated as such... a companion! We will spend time together as friends would. Catching up with some fetch, good food (treats), and some snuggles. Your pet will be continuously trained and house rules will be reinforced. I reward with positive reinforcement, kisses, and sometimes treats too (old dogs can learn new tricks! Cats can learn tricks too!).
Information Rachel F. would like to know about your pet
If a dog has any health/behavior problems, I would prefer to know in advance. This will not stop me from caring for your dog. I like to prepare a schedule and accommodations that best fit your pet. For example, if you dog has arthritis, I will not take him/her on longer walks. Or if you have a little more protective/aggressive pet, we will avoid busy streets.
A typical day
Fun activities include attention, reinforcing training (although I will spoil and shower your pet with love), walks around your neighborhood and local parks, and playing with toys.

Availability
House visits and walks happen at various times of the day, depending on your pet's needs. Usually this is done first thing in the morning, last thing at night, or between errands. On rainy/lazy days, visiting your pet is a great breaks for me when I've been cleaning house or reading all day!
