Pet care experience
Having housesat all over the world while traveling abroad, I have looked after many dogs, cats, and small animals of every age and personality. With loads of experience caring for others’ pets, I give animals the love and attention they need while their families are away. Training dogs, playing with cats, and cuddling guinea pigs have been just a few of my responsibilities, and I welcome every opportunity to make a new furry friend.

Rachel took care of our puppy as we did not have to worry about.. we were so worried about taking care of him but thankful that she did a wonderful job.
Dreamer had another great stay with Rachel. She is so good with her. Always kept me informed and sent pictures of Dreamer. Highly recommend Rachel.
Rachel sent us regular updates on Chester, along with photos. He seemed to have a good time and was happy when we picked him up. Rachel was very personable and answered all our questions and was quick to respond to logistical concerns.
We left our dogs, Daisy & Bella, with Rachel over a long weekend. Rachel does a great job providing a loving, caring and attentive environment. Daisy & Bella were so happy to be with Rachel they asked to stay there whenever we leave town. Rachel is great to work with, she kept our dogs safe and happy. We will be using Rachel in the future if she is available.

Pets get my full attention when I am with them. Walks and hikes with dogs are built into my days as I enjoy the outdoors and love to explore. I can take dogs out for potty breaks as much as needed, and stick to their feeding schedules when owners are gone. Cats get all the play and cuddles they desire while also sticking to their feeding times, and I clean litter boxes daily. Clients’ homes are treated with care and respect and I leave them in the best possible condition at the end of each sit. Watering plants, bringing in mail, and taking out trash are just some of the basics I’m happy to attend to while clients are away.

It’s good to know if the dog or cat I’ll be hanging out with has anxiety, behavioral issues, or is reactive around certain animals or situations. Medications, allergies, and recent injuries or surgeries are helpful to know about as well. For housesit requests, it’s important to know how the animal is around young children as my son will be sitting with me.
A typical day
We wake up with a cuddle and a play, then head straight out the door to a trail or park. Once back home for food and water, we go out later in the day for another walk or dog park adventure. When at home, there is always loads of attention and love while sticking to feeding schedules and typical daily routines. An evening meal and outside one more time before bed is pretty standard.

Availability
I am available occasionally for walks and drop-in visits. As for housesits, if your pet enjoys being around children, my three year old son Skye is always excited to help out. Bringing him along for housesits means I am available to stay for however long is needed and be with the animal full-time. Skye has spent his whole life around animals, so is very comfortable around dogs and cats, giving them all the cuddles and play they could ask for.
