Pet care experience
There's never been a time in my life where I didn't have a dog or cat as a pet. I truly understand what an important part of the family unit your pet is and will treat it as such. I like to jog and go for walks and love having a doggy companion with me. I live close to the beach and would love to take your pup for a swim if they love the water. In our home is myself, my husband, and my six year old son (all avid dog lovers!) we also have Stella, a golden, and Chloe, our 7 lb Yorkie mix. Our home is on a double lot with a large (unfenced) yard, but I have a lead available or you can provide one.

Woyld definitely use again
Rachel gave me a good indication of having done all that I asked her to do. She seems to have a nice, relaxed manner around Zoe and she asks appropriate questions, striving to do everything right.
Rachel has been a big help to me since I got my rescued dog, Gibbs, over a year ago. He's a 40 lb. terrier mix with lots of energy and a "strong will" who is sometimes difficult for me to manage. But Rachel is great with him. He responds quickly to her commands and becomes ALMOST well behaved. (She's good, but she's no miracle worker.) She has come to my home to walk him when I'm working all day, and I have boarded Gibbs in her home for several days at a time. She's as responsible and loving with him as she is with her own dogs. I recommend her to anyone needing some help with their dogs.

No breed preferences but I do have a six year old at home, as well as a golden retriever and a small Yorkie/pug mix- both females. I just ask that your dogs be friendly with no signs of aggression if you want to board them for a stay. I don't have experience with special needs or senior dogs but I am a quick learner and assuming you provide me with all the details of what your pet needs I would be happy to accommodate them.
A typical day
I can take high energy dogs for a run or to the dog park, or just for a long walk. Willing to take water lovers to the beach for a good swim.
