I’ve cared for a variety of pets throughout my life, and like most people on Rover, love animals! We currently own three dogs and a cat and have experience with several different kinds of medical conditions with differing levels of severity. My sister owns three dogs as well so we have plenty of experience dog-sitting for a whole pack of pups.

Rachel was a godsend for this over protective pet momma!!! She sent pictures his whole stay and made sure he was happy and my mind at ease.
I have two very fearful dogs which makes it a very stressful process when we have to go out of town. One dog is afraid of his own shadow and the other is fear reactive, which means we have to find the PERFECT person to navigate that. Rachel is that person. From the beginning, our dogs took to her. She made them feel at ease in their own home and the whole process as stress free as possible. She sent us pictures and updates every morning and asked questions to make sure the instructions were clear. We have never had a more positive experience than we did with Rachel.
Rachel was great she showed up on time and took care of our pack of dogs and made them feel loved while we were gone. Highly recommend Rachel!
Rachel and Ty have been fantastic with our babies! They always send photos and videos while we’re away. Great with communication and keeping us afloat of what our dogs are up to while we’re away. We’ve used them multiple times as it did not take long for us to trust them with our dogs. Our babies always come back happy and safe.

I have a fenced in yard (6 foot fence with padlocked gates) and three friendly dogs to keep your pet company during their stay. When the weather is nice we typically leave our dogs in the backyard to run around and play and bring them in periodically throughout the day to give them some love before they’re ready to go back out again. When rainy or too hot/cold, we keep them inside for the majority of the day. All dogs come in at night and sleep in our room with us. I understand all dogs are different and needs can vary, so if you are not comfortable with your pup playing out back for long periods or need them crated I can absolutely accommodate that! We also live extremely close to the dog bar (which our dogs LOVE) so if you feel your dog would enjoy a visit let me know!

Please let me know if there are any special accommodations your pet might need ahead of time, such as medications, elevated feeders, supplements, etc. We have elevated feeders we can use if needed as well as a large crate if your pet prefers or needs to be crated while we are out or for them to sleep in at night. Additionally, any information on current contagious illnesses your pet might have and whether they are cat friendly would be greatly appreciated as to help us plan accordingly!
A typical day
I love playing with my client’s pets! I’ll usually spend some time each day interacting with them using toys or treats, and on nice days just sit out back with them during my breaks throughout the day. If your dog is into hide and go seek, you’ve come to the right place! Ours LOVE to seek us out, and we’ll often play a couple rounds with them in the evenings. I also enjoy taking the dogs on a walk to make sure they get mental stimulation in as well, and can offer a fun and enriching seek and reward activity (with your approved treats) I often do with my dogs on rainy days.

I have an extremely flexible schedule which allows me to work from home. I travel about once a month for work so may not be able to accept any bookings for the few days I am out of town but am typically free the remainder of the month.
