Pet care experience
My name is Rachel, I'm a proud mom of a boxer collie named Ripley and a tuxedo cat name Ribbon. I have had all different kinds of pets since I was young: dogs, cats, rodents, birds and fish. They are always my first priority. I believe animals should be treated with the same love and respect given to humans. If you’ve got a busy schedule or going out of town, I’ll do everything I can to make your pet comfortable while you’re away!

Rachel was an exceptional dog sitter! This was my first time leaving my dog behind for a few days and I was so nervous but Rachel did such a good job updating me I felt like I was there in person. My dog is also very shy and Rachel went the extra mile by sitting with her for about 15 minutes every shift to ensure my dog felt comfortable going outside with her. If you are hesitant using Rover, you cannot go wrong with Rachel! I will definitely be using her again!
Rachel was great with my dog! I recently had to go away for the weekend and didn't have anyone to help out with walking my pup for a couple days. Rachel agreed to walk him and ended up getting along great with my dog! She sent me pictures and kept me updated on the time they spent together which made me feel comfortable and safe with who I left my dog with. Would definitely recommend Rachel for anyone looking for a caring and responsible dog lover. Thanks again Rachel!
Rachel is so great with animals, especially dogs. She has watched our dog on numerous occasions and we have been very satisfied. We would highly recommend Rachel. She is extremely responsible and your dog would be in great care.
Daisy loves going to stay with Rachel when I have to go out of town. I travel for work occasionally but I know Daisy is well taken care of. Rachel even sends me an occasional picture if I ask, to put my mind at ease.

When taking care of your pet, I do my best to replicate the same kind of care you would. This includes following any shoe rules, locking up, and cleaning any messes your pet may make upon my arrival. When going for walks, I stay away from other dogs and busy roads just to be safe.There is also a mandatory belly rub session before I leave them. :)

A typical day
30 Min. Walk: I will walk your dog(s) for 30 minutes, wherever you like. I will avoid other dogs and busy roads. If it gets too hot, rains, or they are not feeling it, I will run them out to potty but go back inside to play for the remainder of the visit. Their droppings will be disposed of. Food and water can be refilled and medication can be administered. Drop-Ins: This 30 minute long visit to your pet(s) includes feeding/watering, play time and mess cleaning. I'm comfortable with doing this visit for dogs, cats, rodents and birds.
