Hello, my name is Rachel! I have devoted my life to animals and in 2013 I graduated from The Ohio State's College of Veterinary Medicine. I was in small animal private practice for years but I am now home with my human kids and write freelance for a Veterinary company. I have the animal knowledge base and love for all creatures great and small that goes above and beyond most! I will add that my home is not a veterinary clinic, though. :) I'd love to meet your pet and spoil them while their parent(s) are away! We are huge animal lovers at our house and we have two cats, a dog (and chickens)! As a very responsible doctor, I will treat your pet like family, follow your care instructions, and love them like they are my own. Let me know if you have any questions! **Please note that when booking overnight boarding dates- pick up time for a boarding pet will need to be no later than 9:30pm for that particular day.**

She is always so good to check in and make sure your fur babies are getting exactly what they need. I know 100 percent my animals will be in the best care.
This review comes in super late, its been a few years since. We had Rachel watch our very senior dogs when we were away. Our now late min pin was blind and diabetic and needed extra special care. Rachel was able to feed her and give her insulin twice a day and make sure she was loved. The fact that we had someone be able to give that care was so amazing. Sorry this review is a little late I just opened the app after our senior dogs passed and noticed I didn't leave a review.
Rachel has always been FANTASTIC with the care, and love, she extends to our dog Dash. We're so very grateful to be able to have her as our home-away-from-home when we travel & can't take our fur baby with us!
Rachel is the only rover.com drop-in sitter I use for my dog anymore. She is so great with my old labrador and my dog is always happy on the days she gets a mid-day visit by Rachel.

We are currently waiting on a fence and a yard for our new home, but we go on daily walls (depending on your pet’s needs and your requests can be multiple!) and lots of leashed potty breaks.

- How do they get along with cats? Kids? - Are they crate trained? (Not required but if a dog is, they love having their own 'safe' place with them.) - How do they respond when being left alone for short periods of time? - Due to the nature of our household, we are unable to accept dogs that are not fully potty trained, have lots of barking/whining, or that are unable to occasionally be left alone for an hour or two. Please consider this when considering if you would like to do a meet and greet. Thank you!
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally and spoil them with love and attention! We can play with dog toys, go on walks around our neighborhood to explore and stay active, or just get some love with belly rubs and ear scratches. I try to give each dog what their personality needs or their owner requests. :)

Aside from occasional errands or a child’s pick ups and drop offs, I’m home throughout the day! I’m available for your pet for lots of potty breaks, play time, and cuddles!
