Overnight Dog Boarding

Pet care experience

My name is Rachel. I work as a data science manager for a federal contractor and am currently 100% remote. It's been difficult for me to find a flexible dog sitter that can offer the right environment for my small senior dog, and so I'm happy to help others by providing a calm and relaxing environment for dogs alike at a reasonable cost. I live in a single family home with my husband and 1 year old son, so any guests must do well around children. No cats and no smoking. We have a small 9 lb female senior Bichon Frise who gets along well with other dogs but mostly minds her own business and sleeps a lot. Puppies or overly energetic dogs can make her anxious, so she does best with dogs of a similar temperament (calm, low to moderate-energy, etc.). We take a walk around the neighborhood once a day.

I cannot say enough about Rachel and her family. Absotuley fantastic and will use her over and over again. We had a funeral to go to in MA and she was able to accommodate us in a very short window, which was so helpful for our family to quickly get on the road and travel without the dog. We connected, she asked great questions, we shared Dora's routine and medications and she was absolutely fantastic at not only taking care of Dora to her schedule but making her feel so welcome and comfortable, that it didn't seem like she wanted to leave. :) Rachel texted us pictures and notes on how she was doing, what they did (went on walks, resting/playing) multiple times a day, which in this stressful situation, was such a relief. Thank you again for taking great care of Dora, we will be back!!

Rachel is a great sitter for older dogs! Shrek was well taken care of and she was patient with his weird, old dog quirks.
