Hi there! I’m Rachel, a wildlife biologist with an immense love for dogs and cats. I am unique in that I have over 7 years of educational training with animals, much of which translates to domestic pets. In addition to having my own dogs and cats, I have also been a foster. I have fostered dogs and cats of all ages and sizes (specializing in large dogs) for many years and have much experience walking even the the most headstrong of dogs. I am a high energy person who loves to play and interact your pets. I am responsible and detail oriented, proven by my ability to care for pets in the past. I look forward to being able to assist you with caring for your furry family member!

I have known Rachel well for 4 years and have seen her be an excellent caregiver to her former roommate’s dog, her own pets (she has a few tank animals), her family’s elderly cat, and to wildlife (through volunteer and research opportunities). Rachel truly loves all animals - even the scaly, spooky, or scruffy ones! She has experience fostering several dogs of various breeds/ages and would be an excellent caregiver to any animal.
Rachel is a huge animal lover and deeply cares about their safety and well-being. Her work as a wildlife biologist has shown how she can work with any animal and she is one of the gentlest handlers I know! Rachel went above and beyond with the last dog she lived with, becoming one of Ms primary caregivers and favourite people in the whole world. As M aged and went through surgeries, Rachel was the one to drive M and her owner to the vet, she would walk her during her recoveries and would stay at home to make sure M wasn't alone. Rachel would be an amazing person for this job and would do everything to make sure your dog is happy and safe!
