Pet care experience
I am an avid dog lover, with two large pups of my own. I have experience in giving care for animals, such as bathing, grooming, and giving medication. I am flexible when it comes to the care of your animal, if they have certain routines or rules that you, as the owner, prefer for your pet, I am ready to do what you need me to! I love to play, run, and make dogs wag their tail! I am a full-time student at UWG, and as such I am in class during the week mostly in the morning/ afternoons. Mondays I do not have class, Tuesday through Thursday I have classes from 10:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. If you need more info, contact me immediately.

Dogs and cats love Rachel. She has experience raising both cats and dogs, including 4 German Shepherds, a miniature schnauzer, and a basset hound. She has taken excellent care of all of our pets and our love her. They even get depressed when she leaves, that's how good she is with them. You can trust your pets and your property with Rachel.
Rachel Deryck is a natural with dogs. Dogs are drawn to her gentle and affectionate nature. How do I know? Our German shepherds adore her, and spending time with Rachel is the highlight of their day. Rachel has a natural knack in bonding with dogs and is able to relate to doggies on their level. For example, she will sit or lay on the floor, whispering calming, loving words, while gently stroking their bellies. Then she'll jump up and throw the ball with them or blow bubbles for them with an exuberant nature. Rachel is just as energetic and playful with pups as she is gentle and loving. Having her as a potential dog sitter would be a true asset to your company!

There are no breed preferences, all dogs are loved and happily taken care of! If there are any medical issues or personal care preferences by the owner, I would prefer to know them prior or the day of sitting.
A typical day
I prefer walking where it is safe for your pet, usually a nice park or cool little nature trail. If there are any areas you do not want your animal being in, I am happy to change the route. I usually love playing with the dogs if they like to, usually playing fetch, running, etc. But I always try to have a calm-down period to ensure the animals are well rested too.
