I am an experienced pet owner and dog sitter who was born and raised in the Midwest. I adopted a dog named Charlie in 2021, who I love so much. I love meeting new furry friends and so does he. He gets along with every pup and human he meets. He would love to have your pup as a playmate in our fenced-in backyard. I have a flexible full time job that allows me to work from home two days a week and I will always make your dog a priority. I haven't met a dog that I don't like and I have yet to meet one that doesn't like me... after a few sniffs, of course. Frankly, I'd rather spend time with your pup than I would most humans! Taking care of your pup would be just as fun for me as it would be for your dog. I frequently take walks and runs and always enjoy having a pup to keep me company.

Rachel was great and cared for two dogs perfectly! From meeting her we knew she was going to be the one for our skittish dog, and we were spot on! Definitely recommend her … unless of course it it during a time we need her again!

I usually want to meet up with a client beforehand so they can show me how things work in their home, show me where all of their pet’s supplies/food/toys are located, and show me how their pet’s routine usually goes. I’m also happy to water plants or take care of anything else that may need done around your home. Safety is top priority, so any security measures you’d like me to take, I’ll happily accommodate those too. If your pet is staying at my house, I’d love to have them over in advance so they can meet Charlie and get to know our home while you’re still there.

I like any and all dogs. I would, however, like to know how well trained they are, both inside and on a leash. I would also like to know how they handle other people/animals so I can be better prepared to make them comfortable in every situation.
A typical day
I like to make sure dogs are stimulated both mentally and physically! Nobody likes being bored! Whether it’s fetch, a trip to a dog park, or just sniffing around the block, I’m happy to do whatever makes your dog happy and comfortable.

Availability
I have a flexible job that allows me to take breaks so I can check on your dog during the day on week days. I’m off at five for lots of playtime after work, or mornings, if that’s what their routine is. I also work from home a couple of days each week. I’m off every weekend and have plenty of time for visits to the dog park, or just walks around the neighborhood too!
