Dog days=fun days

Pet care experience

I own a dog myself. He is a three legged small dog. I have taken care of him since he was born. It was a challenge getting him used to missing one of his back legs, but well worth it. He is now moving around at his own speed and his hard to keep up with sometimes. I have also had four other dogs in the past. I took care of my friend's dogs while she was in the hospital. I would go over to her house and walk them and feed them every day. I also took care of her cats by playing with them and the dogs. I love t lok and would do anything to make a pet happy and feel loved.

We have cameras and our dogs were left alone for 10 - 13 hours for several days, while we were gone. We told her our dogs needed to be let out to use the restroom every 2 - 3 hours, as the one is still a puppy. We came home to our dining room table scratched up and ruined, our quilt on the bed completely chewed through, a hole in the sheets, completely chewed through and a pillow and pillow case corner chewed off. These are all signs of anxiety. She told me she would let me know when she had to work, but never notified me about it. Our house smelled so bad like pee, and there was a huge chunk of mulch on my bed, which looked like poo. I sent her a pic, and she said she took it from her several times. Why didn’t she take it and throw it away?! My table is ruined! She said my dog kept getting on the table… and she would tell her to get down.. why didn’t she pick her up and take her down and do something to prevent it again? This unusual behavior for my dogs, if she had been here? This might not have happened!!! We also have our dogs on video at 3:51 AM in the yard. I told her we have coyotes and other wild life, and not to let them out alone after dark or too early. She was not with my dogs… We are very upset and do not recommend Rachel. This makes me sad, because I trusted her… my poor dogs. All alone, all day, for several days! Anything could’ve happened to them!!! These are not just dogs to us, they are our hearts!!!

Rachel was absolutely amazing! She reached out every day to give me updates on my babies and was quick to answer any questions I had. We will definitely book her again in the future!

Safety, trust & environment

I am very cautious about making sure my own dog is hooked up to his leash before going outside so I will treat your dogs the same. For cats I love my sisters cats so I know to make sure they have their food and water and to love on them when they want it.

Information Rachel D. would like to know about your pet

It is important to know if they have any special needs, favorite toys, and anything that would cause them to freak out on a walk.

A typical day

I will play fetch if they like it. I have a dog park near my house that we can visit if you live close. For cats I have a laser pointer that we can play with.
