Pet care experience
Hello! I’m Rachel and would love to care for your furry friend. I’ve owned dogs for literally my entire life so no situation will be a shock to me! I have a mini dachshund named Millie who loves playing with other dogs. We recently lost our 13 year old pup, so Millie is also familiar with older dogs who may prefer to be left alone. Leaving your pet is tough (believe me I know), which is why I want to make sure you are completely in the loop when I’m with your pet. I will provide updates and photos so you know your pup is having a fun, comfortable time while you’re away.

My home is dog friendly. There are also no steps to worry about. I have a fenced in courtyard so no worries about any pups getting loose! If your pet isn’t potty trained completely, I do ask you bring a kennel. I have a spare small sized kennel if needed.

Let me know feeding schedule, if your pup is crate trained/potty trained and if there are any special needs your pet has. That way I can make sure there is as minimal of a transition period as possible for them while you’re away.
A typical day
Your dogs will be pampered while at my house! We try to get to the dog park 1-3 times a day (depending on energy levels). Dog parks not for your pup? No worries! I also live in a neighborhood so walks are also an option.

Availability
I just got back to my office after a year and 3 months working from home, but my dog is 1, so I am never gone for more than 6 hours at a time. Weekends I’m completely free and am usually home if I have a pet staying with me.
