**Rates may vary based on difficulty. **I require a meet and greet for all new clients and will not accept last minute requests unless we have previously done a meet and greet. **If requesting boarding, your pet(s) must be good with cats and other dogs, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. I have been a Rover Sitter for 5 years and counting! I love this job very much! A little bit about my experience... I have worked with dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds, energy levels, and some health needs. I currently have a dog of my own - a stray/rescue who we believe is Australian Kelpie/Mixed. For about 6 months, my husband I cared for my MIL's yellow lab who had severe skin issues and I nursed him back to health. I also grew up with a yellow lab, who lived to the ripe old age of 15.5 years. Additionally, I have had cats my entire life. I currently have 2 who are both good with dogs, as long as the dogs are cool with them. I am caring, kind, attentive, and tend to like animals more than people. I spoil and pamper them, but I am not afraid to be firm when they break rules or don't listen. I am also a good teacher; I have taught basic commands (sit, lay down, stop, wait, etc.) to many dogs, as well as some fun tricks (shake, high five, roll over, sit pretty, stand etc.) I also understand that a person's pet is like their child. I respect rules set by owners and give their fur children all the love they deserve! I am also an actor, so I am home most of the time. I do occasionally have jobs come up last minute, but provide as much notice as possible. Other than that, pet sitting is my full-time job! Boarding: I have a four bedroom home with a fenced in yard. if your dog is an escape artist, I make sure to never leave them alone in the yard, as well as being careful entering/exiting the house. I can separate pets, if needed, though I prefer all the pets in my home to get along. I have a dog and two cats. Our dog, Tucker, loves to play with other dogs! He is very high energy though which can be intimidating to some other dogs, at first. He eventually calms down and learns when to give others their space. The cats are fine with dogs, as long as the dogs respect their space. House-sitting: Whatever you do to keep your pet safe in (and out of) the home is what I will do as well. I try very hard to keep their routines as close as possible to what they are used to.
