Pet care experience
My husband (Christian) and I (Rachel) both love dogs! We both grew up with dogs and now have two dogs of our own, Captain & Murphy. They are both Airedales and love having other dogs over to our house to play with! We live in a house and have a nice big backyard with covered porch. We are happy to meet any specific requests you may have regarding feeding/treats/etc. and always feed dogs separately. Our dogs are let outside as often as they want, so your dogs will have the same freedom. We will take walks around our neighborhood and treat your pups as if they are our own! All dogs will be crated when we leave the house and crated when we are sleeping. Crate trained dogs only, please! We always ask to meet before booking so the dogs can meet each other and we can answer all of your questions in person. We look forward to talking to you!

Rachel and Christian were beyond amazing! They took care of our five month old puppy for ten days. They sent daily updates and made us feel so at ease that he was well cared for. Chief was in heaven with their two airedales and were so grateful for their care!

We have no breed preferences, but would like to know if your dog has a history of being aggressive or fearful and what typically triggers that behavior. We would like to know what commands they understand, and how often and how much they eat. We ask that all dogs are crate trained, as we don’t leave dogs out when we are not at home or when we are sleeping for both their safety and our peace of mind.
A typical day
Neighborhood walks, plenty of fetch inside & play time in our backyard. Our pups have more toys than they know what to do with so there is no shortage of things to play with

Availability
I work from home some days but also travel locally during business hours. For boarding, dogs will be crated when we are not home, Captain & Murphy are crated as well. If you’re interested in house sitting we can work out the details as my schedule has a lot of flexibility. I’m usually in and out several times during the day and always strive to leave your space better than when I found it. I prefer not to spend the night, but if it’s required I am able to. For walking, I am available before 8AM or after 5PM on a recurring basis or any time on weekends. For one time walk requests my schedule is more flexible.
