Super caring and extreme dog lover

I have been dog sitting for three years now. I have worked at a Doggie Daycare/boarding center for two years . I am also Dog CPR certified. I grew up with dogs my whole life, from littles to giants and from puppies to senior doggies, I have experience with all dog types. When taking care of others doggies I take them to dog parks, give them long walks, and a ton of love! I was ...

What Rachel would like to know about your dog

I like to know the doggies personality so I usually like to schedule an "interview" with the doggie and the doggies parents to have an introduction and make both the doggie and parents feel comfortable in my home (or in their home). I like to know their favorite treats and their eating schedule. I also like to know if they need naps or resting periods and any behavioral extras (ex: door aggressive, lap aggressive, etc.). I don't have any breeds that I do not welcome. I also do not have any preferences when it comes to breeds. All doggies need love!

When Rachel watches your pet

When doggies stay with me I take them on long walks throughout the day! I also make sure to go to the dog park for at least an hour in the mid afternoon to make sure the doggies get all there energy out and can run off leash (if owners want, they don't have to go to dog park during stays). I'm interactive with the doggies all morning giving them lots of love and attention. We play fetch and play inside and outside (to get fresh air). Late morning (before dog park/ mid day) I let the doggies take a little nap with lots of cuddles (1-2 hours) and feed lunch (if permitted) or give the doggies treats. After outside play in the afternoon the doggies come inside to cool off and relax during the afternoon! I take daily pictures of the doggies and send them to their parents so they can see how much fun they are having!
