Pet care experience
My family has had dogs since I was 7 years old, and cats since before I was born. I have cherished and loved all of my pets like they are my children. I started babysitting, dog-sitting, and house-sitting in high school and have never stopped providing these services for friends. With my WFH schedule, I'd love to open up to meet more clients through Rover again, something I used to do quite a lot! My current bestie is Susan-- she's my second rescued bully breed. I am excited to befriend your pets, I can work with any and all types of dogs and/or cats! I know how hard it is to leave your pets at home while you're away and you can rest assured Susan and I will be doting playmates and companions while you're out at work or in the mountains skiing :) With your dog, I'd love to go on greenway walks, play with toys, or just chill inside- whatever your dog likes to do!

Rachel did a great job watching our Bichons and taking care of our house! (We were especially grateful for Rachel's patience when our travel plans took a crazy turn and she was able to tack on an additional day at the last minute.) We loved that she was in constant communication and that she gave us daily updates with pics! You can really tell that Rachel loves to be around dogs:)

Rachel was awesome and super flexible while we were away for the weekend! She sent plenty of updates and pictures. We'll definitely be having her over to watch Sadie again.

When your dog comes to my house, they will have another pup friend -- my girl Sue is exceptionally friendly. She's very submissive in social groups and takes cues from other dogs really well during play. She's only about 1.5 years old, so she can play all day but is mature enough to be respectful when her friends signal that play time is over. I will be monitoring them at all times to be sure they are both playing nicely. I am right near a greenway and some gorgeous parks for outdoor play time! When I come to your home, I will follow your instructions to a T!

If your dog has any special needs or medications, just let me know. My senior boy Rocky had high care needs for 2 years before passing, so I'm experienced in providing special levels of care. Additionally, your dog's preferences with other dogs will be helpful to know since mine will be around too if you drop yours off at my house.
A typical day
I know that your dogs may be anxious away from you and their home, so I can provide plenty of physical and mental stimulation. I have puzzles they can play with while I'm working, and we can take lots of breaks to sniff around the greenway, the neighborhood, and the nearby parks.

Availability
I work from home 3 days a week, and am available on Mon, Tue, Thur, and weekends. Your dog can join me and my pup for walks and play time throughout the day while you're out, or I can come to them :)
