Pet care experience
I have recently earned my certification as a Veterinary Assistant. I have lived with dogs all my life. I have been caring for my family and friends cats here and there. I am able to patiently wait to gain the trust of the pets I am introduced to. I don’t like to assert myself immediately to cause any stress or discomfort for the animals.

Rachel took great care of our two dogs. We needed a sitter at the last minute and Rachel was able to come for a meet and greet the next day, took great care of our boys while we were gone, and sent up daily photo updates. Our dogs were happy and our home was in great condition when we returned!
Rachel is wonderful with dogs! She has firsthand experience as she currently has 5 dogs of her own. She is very patient with them and is very attentive to their needs. She understands that each dog has their own personality and does everything she can to earn the dog's trust. Whenever I am out of town, I can always count on Rachel to take of my two dogs. She is trustworthy and dependable.

With the needed time and effort I am a very organized person. I am able to time the walks and the feeding/drinking times for the animals so there is no mishaps or messes that may occur on my watch. I try my best to give the most comfortable atmosphere for all the animals under my care.

A typical day
I love to take dogs on a long walk and play fetch with a ball. I try my best to keep them away from other animals so they are out of harms way. I try to stay in the same vicinity of the home of the dogs I care for so they do not feel out of place.

Availability
I am currently applying to veterinary hospitals so I have a bunch of free time in my hands. I am also currently working on to get my veterinary technician degree, but this is currently online so I am able to fit everything in a fine flexible schedule. I am able to equally work out my schedule to make sure everyone is able to get a hold on me if I am needed.
