My husband and I love dogs! We’ve both grown up with dogs our entire life and are rarely without an extra dog or two in our home when our friends or family travel. We a miniature dachshund, Petunia, who loves having other pups around! We have had an Italian maremma and goldendoodle in the past, so we are very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities! We have an acre fenced back yard and I am a stay-at-home mom, so my two kids and I will be with your pup all day to play, cuddle, feed, and help your pup feel at home. We do not allow dogs on the couch or bed, but have comfy dog beds in the house and are always willing to give extra cuddles when needed! We truly would love to care for your pup during your next trip. My husband works from home, and I am an active stay at home mom. Our kids and I love dogs and will be home all day taking walks, romping around the yard, and snuggling with your pup. I have a fenced acre sized yard to give your pet a safe place to play and run. I will make sure to take detailed notes so that I can keep your dog as comfortable and at home feeling while they are here. I know that consistency and sticking with a familiar routine and habits can help, so I'll do my best to uphold whatever schedule for feeding, walks, etc. you typically do. Your dog will always be supervised and I make sure to never have more than one dog at a time(unless they are from the same family), so that I can provide the care and attention your dog needs. We will make sure to only feed them the food you provide, no scraps, so as to keep everyone's tummies happy during their stay. We also make sure to feed them separately from our dog, so everyone eats their own food. We have a small dachshund who loves other dogs and will be happy to keep your pup company during their stay. Our goal is for your pup to feel like they are at home, so we do our best to give them the same love and affection they would get with you!
