Pet care experience
I have experience caring for many different animals and breeds. With dogs, I have experience with the elderly, small and low maintenance chihuahuas all the way to the dominant, young, high maintenance dobermans. I am familiar with different training methods to help continue any training you are working on or great for a snuggle buddy on the couch. I grew up with snakes, iguanas, cats, chinchillas, and dogs. I currently have an at-location job, for 6-8 hours a day but can easily accommodate stopping by on my lunch break when needed. Otherwise, I like to go on hikes, bike rides, and will happily take dogs (or any pet) on any adventure they would enjoy!

Rachel did a great job with our Molly! Lots of walks and TLC. She was also a great communicator and texted with pictures. I felt very comfortable leaving our girl with Rachel and will use her again!
Rachel went above & beyond to make sure our dogs were happy, safe & relaxed while we were away. She was very professional and confident when meeting us and the dogs. She kept us updated everyday with photos. And when we returned our house was clean, just they way we left it. We will absolutely book again!

I care for pets as if they are my own. If they are affectionate, I will make sure they get all the pets and feel as comfortable as they can while their owners are away. If a pet needs space, I don’t push myself on them and make sure they have plenty of space to adjust to a new person.

It is important for me to know any behaviors that need monitored (scratching, barking, plant-eating, begging etc). I would also like to know any quirks (doesn’t like ears touched, loud noises, picked up, etc).
A typical day
I love playing fetch with dogs whether from the couch, in the yard, or in the park. I am also happy to work on any training you’re currently working on to keep your dog up to date on new behaviors.
