Pet care experience
Hello, My name is Rachel; I am 27 years old. Animals are my passion and I have spent my entire personal and professional life caring for them. I Have been an animal care specialist for a few different county shelters and rescues, as well as a part time pet sitter for several years, and I just finished the schooling to become a certified veterinary assistant. I have experience caring for older pets and know how to administer medications. I offer sitting in your home, check-ups, bathing, and drop-off/pick-up services. I can care for and have experience with cats, dogs, and some small animals. When I am caring for your pet I do my best to make them as comfortable as possible. I do this by sticking to his/her normal schedule as closely as possible (feeding,walking times ect.) and of course by giving lots of affection and attention! Your pet will be supervised all day most days. Animals are my whole life! I am a full time pet sitter and if I accept a job I will cater my schedule around your pets needs! When I care for your pets I will try to stick to their usual schedule as much as possible to keep them relaxed and happy!

Before sitting a dog or other animal I would like to know: - Feeding/potty schedule -Anything they are not allowed to do (jump,sleep in the bed,eat people food etc.) -Any behavioral issues (Chewing furniture, Separation anxiety etc.) - Whether or not they get along with other animals - Any medical issues your pet may have. - I will need to know if your pet is up to date on vaccinations, flea and tick, as well as heartworm prevention. - And anything else you would like me to know before caring for your pets!
A typical day
Time I'll spend with your pet When boarding your pet, I will usually spend most if not all of the day with your pet. I will try to stick to their normal schedule to make them feel as comfortable as possible. If there is something that your dog especially enjoys doing let me know! I would be more than happy to make trips to the dog park, beach..etc.
