Pet care experience
I lost my 17-year-old dog last March, after caring for her for years. She was my best friend, and caring for her in the winter of her life taught me a lot about ensuring good quality of life for dogs of all ages. I have extensive experience both with senior dogs and puppies. I've worked with high-energy dogs and low energy dogs. Being around dogs is something that brings me joy. If you'd like your dog to be taken on an hour long walk, look no further! I'm very diligent and will give your dog the same attention and care that I would my own. I have experience administering medication to dogs, as well as working on good leash etiquette. I do not work with aggressive or violent dogs. In terms of grooming, I'm comfortable brushing dogs and clipping nails on more relaxed cats.

Rachel was our #1 go to for pet sitting when she lived in Seattle!! She loved our three furry guys almost as much as we did! She was always honest about her availability, and wasn’t just someone who was there, but she spent time playing with and loving on our dogs! She regularly sent picture updates and stories of their times together. One time, while doing an overnight visit during the holiday, one of our very sneaky guys supposedly goy into some holiday fudge. Rachel called us immediately, very calmly, and asked what we would like to do next. All turned out well, as it turned out my brother had been there earlier in the day and eaten all the fudge! A relief for sure, but we were so impressed that Rachel informed us immediately and was so calm. I couldn’t recommend her enough!
Rachel is very trustworthy, responsible, and honest. She loves pets and would be a wonderful sitter for someone who's pet needs a walk or a potty break. I would hire her to take care of my pet the next time I need someone to let her out if I can't make it home in time.
I've never met someone who cares for dogs as much as Rachel. I think she loves dogs more than she loves people. I can't think of a person who I would rather have looking after my dog.
Rachel's looked after my big old dog Tank a few times while I've been away on trips. I came back to a calm, happy dog, so I know he was well looked after and loved while I was gone. I'd be happy to have him stay with her again in the future.
