Rachel loves every dog she meets with all her heart. She's also really smart, and dogs are one of her realms of expertise; she knows a lot about training and different dog breeds and things like that. A lot of that comes from experience with her own dog: an anxious rescue who has come to love Rachel and her family, and is well behaved despite her anxieties. Rachel would care for any dog as her ...
Rachel is amazing with dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities. She is wonderful with my dog, who is skittish and doesn't have great "interpersonal" skills. And I have seen Rachel engage with other dogs (who were strangers to her) and she can sense immediately how to connect with them. Rachel is also very conscientious and reliable, showing up on time every time and giving us a good report on our dog.
I have been living with Rachel for almost four years, and thus can say with absolute certainty that Rachel adores dogs. She frequently sends me pictures of dogs she sees around campus or elsewhere, and we exchange dog memes regularly. She once described her dream job as "getting paid to hang out with dogs all day," which I think indicates her love for all dogs. She has a dog of her own back home ...
Recent college grad and dog lover!!
I’m a recent college graduate who has grown up with dogs my entire life. Because my landlord’s rules prevent dogs, I have plenty of love to spare for your pup!
I’m veteran volunteer at my hometown’s humane society, and I’m animal first aid certified. Currently I work with dogs at the local MSPCA, and I have experience with older and special needs animals.
I’ve run multiple marathons and half ...
What Rachel would like to know about your dog
My childhood dog (does not live with me currently!) is a rescue from an abuse/hoarding case, and she has a lot of anxiety and fear-based aggression issues. As a result, I have a lifetime of experience handling skittish and reactive dogs. If your dog is aggressive or skittish I would like to meet them with you before I agree to walk or sit them, but I don’t automatically rule out dogs with trauma histories.
I am also comfortable with large dogs, but I’m a small human, so I prefer very large dogs with good leash manners so no one gets injured!
