I would not recommend Rachel as a house or cat sitter under any circumstances. She stayed at my place to look after my cat for roughly 10 days and it was a terrible experience. Unfortunately, she offered me a discounted rate if I booked her outside of Rover, but I strongly suggest not to engage with her outside of the platform after my experience. Below are some of the issues I had: * She left traces of red nail polish and large, round stains in my duvet that I was never able to remove. I had to get a new duvet. * She left my stove, pots and pans in a disgusting state. * She left round stains on my coffee table. * She stole at least one item of clothing. * She used up almost all of my perfume and broke my soap dispenser. * She left a pile of dirty and wet towels and sheets in my laundry bin. She also used an inexplicable amount of towels during her stay. * She moved my shower head and caused a leak in downstairs neighbor's bathroom ceiling. * She had a visitor over who slept with her in my bed at least one night, as my handyman found them there when he came to inspect the leak. I know that by hiring this person outside of Rover I lost my right to seek redress, but I still hope my experience can help others. If you want additional details, feel free to PM me.

Rachel is very helpful and accommodating. But my requests have been reasonable. She is wonderful with Dexter who is very strong, gets really excited when he goes on a walk, or sees a person, or does anything other than sit around the house. He can be very difficult to handle, but Rachel has him under control at all times. Rachel seems very knowledgeable about dogs, how to handle them, how to introduce them to other animals, etc. She also is great at giving me feed back about the dog. She answers quickly when I reach out to her, and she frequently takes pictures and texts them to me. All-in-all I cannot recommend her highly enough. I also cannot imagine a situation that she couldn't handle, which is comforting to know when I'm not with my dog.
