I'll treat your fur baby like famil

Pet care experience

To me, pets are family. I will treat your furry family members like my own. From cuddling and belly rubs to playing fetch or tug of war, I am available for whatever special attention your furry friend needs. I have an almost 9 year old dachshund/terrier mix who loves nothing more than to cuddle and I have a 4 year old husky who loves to play and do tricks. During the work week I am available for in-home visits in the morning and in the evening. I prefer to take walks in the evening before bed as it helps to wear out furry friends for more peaceful sleeping. If your dog is high energy and loves to run, I can even bring my bicycle. I am much more flexible during the weekends and am usually available for multiple visits and walks if needed. I am also available for boarding, please see conditions detailed elsewhere in my profile. I look forward to meeting you and your pets.

Information Rachel B. would like to know about your pet

I do not have bread preferences, I love all dogs equally. I do have some conditions if your dog is going to come into my home. My conditions are for the safety of your pet as well as my family. If I am boarding your dog, he or she must be child friendly. My children are 12 and 15 and know how to respect animals. Your dog must be crate trained as my animals are not left unsupervised while I am sleeping or away from home. I do have a good sized crate that they can call home while they are with me. The longest that the dog will be left in the crate is 7 hours while I am at work and overnight. I have a very large fenced in back yard plus a screened in porch. I will take all safety precautions when introducing your pet to mine and will take appropriate action to keep all animals safe in the event that they do not tolerate eachother.

A typical day

If I am just doing drop in walks, I would take your dog for a walk around your neighborhood. Or to a nearby park. If I am boarding your pet, we would probably go for a walk along the Baldwin Rail trail. It is well shaded and paved, so very safe for your pet. If your pet is accustomed to it, I can bring my bike for an extra work out. If you are a repeat customer and I am very familiar with your dog, we could venture to the beach or other parks or trails.
