***FYI I work full time, so your dog will have to be crated during the work day.*** I can run with your dog, or take them to the dog park! I've had dogs for my entire life! Growing up I was the kid in my family that would give our dogs extra attention. After I moved out on my own, I told my parents I would wait 6 months before I adopted a dog. It ended up taking 6 weeks before I adopted one. Adopting Gerty has taught me how to manage dogs with behavioral issues, as she had very bad separation anxiety at first. I know several techniques to calm dogs down and make them more comfortable in a new environment. Back in September 2018 I adopted another dog, Zeus, who also ended up having some behavioral issues but has come a long way! He is great with all other dogs. I run most mornings with my dogs, so they are tired for the time when I am at work during the week. I have a nice fenced-in yard for them to play in, and when it's nice out, they area always begging to go outside and explore. Every weekend (weather permitting) I go to a new park within an hour of my house to explore new hiking trails with my dogs. Dogs that stay with me will definitely get their exercise. I have a full time job, so during the weekdays the dogs will have to go a while between potty breaks. On the weekends, though, I am home all day to play with them.
